Kanojo mo Kanojo「カノジョもかのじょ?. lit. "She is also my Girlfriend"; English: "Girlfriend, Girlfriend"」is a romance-comedy manga series written by Hiroyuki and published in Tankōbon volume by Kodansha. It is also adapted into an anime by Tezuka Productions.

Synopsis[]

Mukai Naoya has loved Saki Saki since grade school, and when she finally accepts his feelings, he's at his happiest. But one day, a cute girl named Minase Nagisa confesses to him! Not wishing to choose only one over another, Naoya chooses to go out with both of them!! What will be of this love triangle that challenges morality itself?

  • On 25 February 2020, the author, Hiroyuki, announced the series' production and release.[1]
  • On 4 March 2020, the first chapter was released. The second chapter was also simultaneously released.
  • The first tankōbon volume was scheduled to be released on 17 June by Kodansha.[2]
  • On 16 November 2020, the author tweeted the announcement of the series' anime adaptation. [3]
  • On 23 February 2021, Kodansha has licensed the series under the name "Girlfriend, Girlfriend".[4]
    • The first English volume is scheduled to be released on 6 April 2021.
  • On 16 September 2022, the author announced that the series would be getting a Second Season Anime Adaptation.[5]
    • For four days starting from 13 September, the author has been releasing teaser arts of the "big announcement", which is ultimately revealed on the 16th.
  • On 12 April 2023, with the release of Chapter 140, the author stated that the series would end in four more chapters.
